Kim Mupangilaï

The Sculpture of Walls: Organics and Relief in the Kim Mupangilaï Collection.

The Kim Mupangilaï collection for Omexco redefines tactile luxury by transforming artisanal heritage into a continuous visual narrative for sophisticated interior design projects. The sensory journey begins with the power of sisal, manifested both in the sculptural and dimensional elegance of the Kisa design and in the organic purity of Lumbi. This natural fluidity extends to the masterful use of raffia and paper: while Koroo and Tangaï explore deep textures and subtle weaving nuances, the Lokema design elevates the surface to the status of art, presenting delicately embroidered motifs that bring an exclusive, artisanal touch to every wall.

The connection to the earth deepens through forms that evoke carved wood in the Oba design, creating a play of shadows that prepares the eye for the refinement of precious woods. The collection reaches its harmonious conclusion in the Nowka and Nama designs, where burled wood takes center stage. While the former transforms the wall into a landscape of organic, integrated shapes, the latter offers a calm and rhythmic continuation, allowing the natural grain to flow through the space in a peaceful composition, uniting the interior with authenticity and technical mastery.
