Sea Freight Logistics for Consolidated Cargo

The price of sea transports by containers has experienced significant increases since the beginning of the pandemic, in 2020, which has driven a large increase in the costs of importing and exporting products that use this mode of transport. The trade of these products usually has very tight margins, and an increase in the price of freights can often make a negotiation impossible to be carried out.

DEBRAQCO also operates in a logistic-commercial way, using the maritime transport of consolidated cargo in containers between Europe and Brazil (on both routes) as well as between Europe and the United States (also on both routes), delivering the product to the final customer, already duty paid. This modality has proved to be an excellent alternative for importers and exporters to lower their costs, when making shipments from 1 pallet.

We have also developed a system that consists of replacing transport in containers with consolidated transport in “Break Bulk”. Operating in a logistical-commercial way in consolidated transport, we receive the product transported in “Break Bulk” at the European destination port, subsequently conducting the entire bureaucratic procedure of nationalization, division of lots and respective re-delivery, by rail or road, to each customer. , irrespective of its location within the European Union.

Products such as coffee, cocoa, and plywood, among others, which have always been transported from Brazil to Europe by containers, are now transported on a consolidated basis by Break Bulk, providing final importers with very low logistical costs.
